Nobody on Page One Publishes a Price
On 29 August 2026 we pulled the organic results for "web design Surrey" and fetched the three highest-ranking pages to see what they publish about cost. None of them published anything: no packages, no ranges, no starting figures. Every route led to a contact form or a discovery call.
That is a normal way to run an agency, and there are good reasons for it — scope genuinely varies. But for a Surrey business trying to work out whether a website is a £300 decision or a £15,000 one, it means three calls before you have a single number to compare.
Our answer is to put the numbers first. A LIVE build costs nothing to build and then £30, £50, £70 or £90 a month depending on how many pages you need. A 7 Day Website is a fixed £1,200 to £1,800. A Custom Website starts at £2,500. All VAT included, all agreed in writing before anyone starts work.
A County That Buys Like London and Trades Like a Town
Surrey has an unusual double character. Guildford, Woking, Epsom, Weybridge and Esher sit inside the London commuter belt, and a great many people who live there work, buy and compare in London terms. Meanwhile the businesses serving them — the clinics, consultancies, trades, salons and independents — are trading in a town.
That gap is where a lot of Surrey websites go wrong in one of two directions. Either the site looks like a small local brochure to an audience that expects London-standard presentation, or it is priced and built like a London agency project for a business whose customers are all within ten miles.
