Build
We build every page, mobile-first, with SEO foundations, forms, and all the details that make a site work properly.

- Every page is built based on the approved design
- Your content is placed and formatted (copywriting is available as a £150-a-page add-on)
- Images are placed — your own photos, or our Stock Photography add-on (£150) if you do not have any
- Contact forms, click-to-call, Google Maps embed, and any other features are added and tested
- Mobile and tablet responsiveness is checked throughout
- SEO foundations are built in: page titles, meta descriptions, heading structure, fast load times

Launch & Handover

- Local business schema markup is added so Google can place you locally

What if I need more than 7 days?
The 7-day timeline applies to our standard website builds. If your project is particularly large — multiple complex pages, custom functionality, or extensive content — we will tell you upfront and agree a revised timeline before we start. There are no surprises. For most small business websites, 7 days is achievable and we hold to it.
What if I do not like the design?
We do not write a single line of code until you have approved the homepage design. Step 2 of our process is entirely dedicated to design concepts — we share a custom design based on your brief, you give feedback, and we revise until you are happy. Only then do we move to build. You will never receive a finished website you dislike.
How many revisions are included?
During the design phase, we iterate until you are happy — there is no hard limit on design revisions, though most clients approve within one or two rounds. During the review phase (Step 4), we include up to 2 rounds of revisions on content and layout after you have seen the full built site. Changes beyond that are handled through your WebsiteCare plan or quoted separately.
Do I need to provide the content?
No. We can write the content for you — website copy, headings, page descriptions, and calls to action — as a copywriting add-on (£150 a page). If you have existing content you want to use, we will improve and format it. If you have nothing at all, we research your business and write everything from scratch. Either way, you are not blocked.
What about images and photography?
If you have your own photos, send them over and we will use them. If not, we can source high-quality, commercially licensed stock photography that fits your brand and industry (our Stock Photography add-on, £150). For businesses that want to stand out, we can recommend professional photography options — but it is never a requirement to get started.
Can I update the site myself after launch?
Yes, if you want to. We can set up a simple content management system so you can make text changes, swap images, and update pages without any technical knowledge. Alternatively, if you would rather not think about it, our WebsiteCare plans include monthly support minutes for content updates — you email us what you need changed, and we handle it.
What if I need changes after launch?
Small changes — updated opening hours, a new service added, a photo swapped — are handled through your WebsiteCare plan as part of your monthly support minutes. Larger additions (new pages, new features) are quoted and built separately. You will never be left with a static site you cannot evolve.
Do you build on WordPress?
We build on the platform that best suits your needs — which for most small business websites is a modern, fast, custom-coded site rather than WordPress. WordPress can introduce security vulnerabilities, plugin conflicts, and maintenance overhead that our WebsiteCare team then has to manage. We do not build on WordPress — we build custom on Next.js, Shopify or Umbraco, and we will always recommend what is best for your project, not what is easiest for us.
