Brambla is a branding and web design studio in Northlew, Devon, founded by Sam and Harriet Butcher. We design logos and brand identities for small businesses: the Starter Brand is £650 to £850, the Professional Brand £1,200 to £1,800 and the Full Brand System from £2,500. A Brand Starter Kit is £350 with a website build. Once a project is paid in full, the final logo and brand files are yours.
What Does Small Business Branding Include?
Branding is how people recognise your business and decide whether to trust it. For a small business it comes down to a few parts that work together. Here is what each one is, and which of our packages includes it.
Logo
The mark people remember. The Starter Brand has a logo; the Professional Brand and Full Brand System have a logo suite: the main logo plus variations.

What a brand sheet looks like
A brand guide puts the parts in one place, so a printer, a sign maker or whoever builds your website uses them the same way. This is ours in miniature: the logo, the colours with their codes, and the two typefaces.

How much does branding cost for a small business?
At Brambla, branding starts at £650. The Starter Brand is £650 to £850 for a logo, colour palette, typography and a basic brand guide. The Professional Brand is £1,200 to £1,800 for a full logo suite, colour and type systems, brand elements and full brand guidelines. The Full Brand System starts at £2,500 and adds a discovery workshop, messaging and tone of voice, and marketing templates. If we are also building your website, a Brand Starter Kit is £350. Every Brambla branding package includes files for print and digital use and a brand guide. Prices are published: Starter Brand £650 to £850, Professional Brand £1,200 to £1,800 and Full Brand System from £2,500, all including VAT. Once a project is paid in full, the final logo and brand identity files belong to you, so you can use them with any designer or printer.
Branding and Your Website
If you need both, do the brand first, so the website is designed around it.
Nearly every website we have built has included some branding work, and for some of those clients Harriet has also made their social media assets. So branding and a website can be planned as one project, with one set of people looking after both.

Five steps from your first message to your finished brand files.
Discovery
You tell us about your business, your customers, your competitors and anything you already have: a logo, colours, photos, social profiles. The Full Brand System starts with a discovery workshop.
Direction
We agree the visual direction with you before the detailed design begins.
Design
We design your logo, colours, typography and brand elements, to the package you chose.
Refinement
You give us your feedback and we refine the design. Extra rounds beyond the agreed scope can be arranged.
Delivery
You get your brand files for print and digital use and your brand guide. Once you have paid in full, the final files are yours.
Who Designs Your Brand
Brambla was founded by Sam and Harriet Butcher, and both of us work hands-on on every project. The person you speak to is the person doing the work. Harriet has the sharper design eye.
We use AI tools in our workflow, including Anthropic's Claude. A person makes every creative decision, and every design is reviewed by one of us before it reaches you. How we build explains exactly how, and our About page tells you more about us.

What's the difference between the Starter Brand and the Professional Brand?
At Brambla, the Starter Brand (£650 to £850) gives you a logo, a colour palette, a typography selection and a basic brand guide, with files for print and digital. The Professional Brand (£1,200 to £1,800) gives you a logo suite (the main logo plus variations for different spaces), a full colour system, a typography system, brand elements and icons, and full brand guidelines, with social media templates as an option. Choose the Professional Brand if your brand has to look the same on a website, social media, print and signage.
What if I only need a logo?
At Brambla, if we are building your website and you only need a simple logo, there is a Logo Only Add-On at £150 to £250, or the Brand Starter Kit at £350, which adds a colour palette, typography and a brand sheet. Neither is sold on its own. A logo without a website project is our Starter Brand, £650 to £850.
Do I own my logo and brand files?
At Brambla, yes. Our terms say that once a branding project is paid in full, we assign full ownership of the final logo and brand identity files to you, royalty-free, in perpetuity, so you can use them with any designer, printer or sign maker. That covers the brand files. A LIVE or 7 Day website is a managed service and works differently, as the terms explain.
What files will I get?
At Brambla, you get files for both digital and print use, including PNG, SVG and PDF, with editable source files where appropriate, and your brand guide.
How long does a branding project take?
At Brambla, a Starter Brand typically takes 1 to 2 weeks, a Professional Brand 2 to 3 weeks and a Full Brand System 3 to 5 weeks. We agree the timeline with you before work begins.
Can you refresh the logo I already have?
At Brambla, yes. If you already have a logo you like, tell us at the start: we can build the colours, type and guidelines around it rather than replace it, and the quote reflects the work it needs.
Can I get branding and a website together?
At Brambla, yes: nearly every website we have built has included some branding work. If you need both, do the brand first, so the website is designed around it. With a 7 Day Website (from £1,200) or a Custom Website (from £2,500) you can add the Brand Starter Kit for £350, or book a full branding package alongside the build.
Do you make social media graphics?
At Brambla, yes. Social media templates are an option in the Professional Brand, the Full Brand System includes marketing templates, and on their own we quote for them on scope. Harriet has also made social media assets for some of the businesses whose websites we built.
Do you use AI to design logos?
At Brambla, a person makes every creative decision. We use AI tools in our workflow, including Anthropic's Claude, as How we build explains, but every design is directed and reviewed by Sam or Harriet before it reaches you.
Do you only work with businesses in Devon?
